Darryl John Hahn

In the early hours of October 27, 2017, Darryl John Edward Hahn passed peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital. 

Darryl was born on June 25, 1965 in Lethbridge, the first born child to Carl and Alice Hahn. He was raised in Lethbridge where he received most of his education. After grade school, Darryl attended Winston Churchill High School, he enrolled in the Lethbridge Community College Cooking program and later completed the Personal Care Attendant program at LCC. He also spent some time at the Canadian Bible Institute in Camrose after high school. His working years were spent as a PCA in the Lethbridge area.

Darryl was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, being baptised and confirmed here and later giving his time to different positions within the church. He also supported STARS by selling calendars during their annual campaigns.

There are a few things we know Darryl was passionate about: coffee, cheese, chocolate, Star Trek (the original), James Bond/ Ian Fleming and techy gadgets. 

Darryl was predeceased by his parents Alice (2005) and Carl (2009) Hahn, and is survived by his brother David, sister-in-law Pam, and their children, Jefferson, Johanna and Danae of Slave Lake. 

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the medical staff at Chinook Regional Hospital, especially the ICU staff for their care of Darryl.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on November 17 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 20 Rocky Mtn. Blvd. W, Lethbridge. A private family interment will be held in Pincher Creek.
