Lucy Stang

LUCY STANG passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Columbia Assisted Living in Lethbridge, AB at the age of 60 years.

            She is survived by her daughter Kyla (Irwin) and two granddaughters, Danielle and Taylor,     as well as four sisters: Marjorie (Bob) Wiens, Isabel (Joe) Lubin, Lorna (Joe) Lavorato, and Betty Grant.

            Lucy was predeceased by her husband Thomas Stang, and parents Pete and Teckla Birkedal.

            Mom was born May 8, 1957 in Mankota, SK.  She married Thomas Stang on May 15, 2004, and was a proud grandma to her granddaughters.  She was a health care aid for may years, and retired early on, taking care of her family.

            She loved music, cooking and making people laugh.

            The Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at ASSUMPTION CHURCH,  2405-12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Fr. Lukas Drapal Celebrant.
