Susan Iwaasa

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Susan Kiyomi Iwaasa.

Mom passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2017, at the Chinook Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Our mom was born and raised in Lethbridge to amazing parents Jeaune and Miiko Iwaasa. She was proud to call Lethbridge home until her last days.

She had the biggest, warmest, heart and her generosity and compassion was truly inspiring. She was a dedicated mother, a loving aunt, a devoted sister, a hard-working employee, and a faithful daughter. She will live on forever in the hearts of everyone she has touched with her hospitality, her laughter, her unconditional love, and her strength.

We will miss her tremendously and aspire to live up to the woman she was.

At her request, there will be no funeral. A memorial will be held Saturday, January 14th, with her close friends and family. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to Jennifer Iwaasa (jiwaasa@gmail.com) or made to Evergreen Cremation Services in Lethbridge.
