Petra Rossanna Villebrun

With humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing of our loved one Petra Rossanna Villebrun.

Born: November 19, 1956 Fort Qu’appelle Saskatchewan (Indian Hospital)

Passed Away: December 10, 2023 at her residence (With her husband Tom by her side) in Lethbridge, AB.

Petra is survived by her Loving Husband of 32 years: Tom Millman (Mot) and her and uncle’s children ( Her stuffies). She was the youngest of her 7 siblings, and Is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings.

Her sister Ursula (Sulla) Brass and her brother Mackey Lussier. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and some great-great nieces and nephews. Adopted dad Bill, Brother in-laws, Sister in laws, Adopted loved ones, and her good/best friends Nancy Andre and Isla. Also, her Church Family and her dearest friends throughout her life.

Petra had a place in so many people’s hearts, and she was a loving daughter, sister, mother, auntie, friend and wife. Her true beauty reflected in her soul. Her laugh was contagious and her smile was most beautiful. Her baby-talk was the cutest and most sweetest. She had a heart of gold , always forgiving and never looked down on anyone. She would help if she could and if she couldn’t, then she would help you find away. Petra was humble, loving and caring, but also could be strict when needed.

Petra spent her first couple years of schooling in Saskatchewan and then moved to Alberta with her family and continued on with the remainder of her schooling. Later in years, she was employed at South Country Treatment Centre and then later on worked at Fort Macleod Foothills Centre. About 5years later, Petra enrolled into a course and received her certificate for the Medical & Dental Assistant. From there on, Petra gained new employment at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, where she had worked for many years until her retirement.

Petra loved her husband Tom(Mot)dearly of 32 years. They fell in love and then they grew in love. They always held each other up in life, through the good times and the hard times, but never gave up on one another. The love and bond they had was beautiful, and Tom stood by his wife’s side thru thick and thin right until the end. The family would like to thank Tom (uncle and brother)for all that he done for their family “loved one” (Petra).

Petra loved everyone that she knew and has made so much memories with all of them. But, she had a very close bond with her niece Chicky, who is also her name sake. One of the things she mostly enjoyed with her niece was listening to her  play the guitar and Petra loved singing country tunes with her. Petra had a silly sense of humour at times with her husband Tom, siblings, nieces and nephews. She truly loved the little ones in her  family. She also loved to dance, wether it be in a dance hall or just at home. She loved swimming, picnics, travelling to the mountains, and family gatherings. Petra left her husband, family and friends with lots of beautiful memories to cherish and that, we shall do. Petra was a beautiful Angle here in this life and is now our beautiful Angle in the sky. Fly high our beautiful Angle.

Petra will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who new her.
