Ivy was born in England on September 26, 1927. She came over as a war bride and married the love of her life Edwin. Together the two of them raised 5 boys living in both Coalhurst and Lethbridge. All of her boys have many fond memories of growing up in Coalhurst; Ivy made sure of that.. Mom worked for many years at Zeller’s, the University of Lethbridge as well as the Lethbridge School District. Ivy loved to garden and had a real talent for canning. Family was very important to Ivy and it was always her number one priority, especially enjoying her time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.. Ivy loved her husband Edwin so intensely and said many times no one could ever replace him. In her 90 years on earth, Ivy touched many lives. Ivy’s family certainly appreciate all of the wonderful comments made about their mother from everyone over these last few days. We will all move on, but never forget her. The family would like to thank all of the relatives that have helped with mom over the past few years and a final thank you to all of those in the medical field that helped Ivy enjoy a full and very lengthy life.
“Mom you will be dearly missed and we will treasure all of the times we spent together, we will love you forever”
