Brenda Whittaker

Mrs. Brenda Magdeleine Whittaker of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Jim Whittaker passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Palliative Care on April 9, 2012 at the age of 71 years.

Brenda was born in Guelph ON on Dec. 21, 1940.

Brenda attended St. Augustine's Anglican Church and enjoyed a close relationship with Canon James Robinson. She enjoyed gardening, visiting with her many friends and family and loved her faithful companion "Ashton."

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Jim Whittaker of Lethbridge, daughter Judi Whittaker and husband Richard Sacher, daughter Chris Bielak and husband Rick Hodgson, and son-in-law Richard Manley; 7 grandchildren, Aaron Bielak, Alicia Manley, Ainsley Manley, Kolson Stumpf, Calynn, Stumpf, Shayne Stumpf and Skyler Stumpf as well as 3 great grandchildren, Chanell, Keaton and Daylah. She is also survived by her brother George Duncan and many nieces, nephews, relatives and loving friends, including "sister" Mary-Lou Mellon.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents George and Lynn Duncan, her sister Judy Duncan and her youngest daughter Pamela Manley.

A Memorial Service will be held and 3 p.m. on Sunday April 15, 2012 at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 411-11 St. S. Lethbridge with Canon James Robinson officiating.
