Chester Bodnar

 “Cal” Chester Michael Bodnar passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 65 years after a long battle with cancer and kidney failure.

Cal was born on March 13, 1958 in Lethbridge Alberta. He was the 2nd of 5 children to George & Arlie Bodnar, who raised their family on the farm in Turin AB. Cal remained in Turin were he raised his own family. Cal enjoyed the farm, his horses and pets. He was proud of his grandchildren/great-grandchildren and was glad to have met his 1st great-granddaughter before his passing.

Cal is survived by Jackie Ressler and by children: Trina (Mark) Stevenson, Michael (Mandy) Bodnar and Holly Ressler (Craig), Grandchildren: Curtis Stevenson (Robbi-Lee), James Stevenson, Carlin, Allan & Mackaden Bodnar, Great grandchildren: Ryott, Robert, Ryver and Paisley.

Siblings: Robin Sakal, Jerry (Debbie) Bodnar, Wade Bodnar, Darren Bodnar (Cathy).

Nephews & Nieces: Steven, Chris, Wayne, Tabitha, Jamie, Gerrid, Stephanie, Miranda.

Uncle Steve (Pat) Bodnar, Auntie Gladys Bodnar and good friend Allen Tyo.

Predeceased by his parents George & Arlie, great-grandson Tydus, niece Kirsten, Brother in law Bill Sakal, Uncle Donny.

Visitation/viewing will be held Monday June 19, 2023 at 3:00pm at Evergreen Cremation Services 1210 Scenic Drive South Lethbridge.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday June 21, 2023, at 2pm at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 5009 - 48th Ave, Taber, Alberta
