Dennis Wayne Littau passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 78 with his wife Maggie at his side. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile.
Dennis was born in Red Deer, Alberta, and transferred to the Okanagan with his young family after starting his long career in Calgary with Pacific Western Airline, which became Canadian Pacific Airline and then Air Canada.
In his retirement after a lengthy career with the airline, Dennis moved back to Alberta where he and Maggie enjoyed being snowbirds for 9 years before settling in Milk River in 2014.
Dennis is best known for his sense humor and booming laugh that could be heard across the room. He was an outgoing person who enjoyed meeting new people and sharing a joke. He enjoyed a drink on the deck with whomever would partake.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife Maggie, and was the proud father of Craig, Kevin, Tara, and stepdaughters: Beverly, Terry and Tracy, and grandchildren: Jordana, Cassandra and Sabrina (Craig); Aimee, Donavin, and Zachary (Kevin); Colton and Conner (Tara); Dakota and Tyson (Beverly): Chandelle and Tiana (Terry) and Benjamin and Jacob (Tracy), as well as his great-grandchildren: Reiya, Aeryth, Dalton, and Smith.
There will be a celebration of life held between 2:00pm and 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Milk River & District Senior’s Society Hall.
