Evalyn Dora Lee

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, aunt & friend, Evalyn Dora Lee.

She passed away peacefully at the age of 84 at the Raymond Health Centre on October 17, 2024.

Eve is predeceased by her parents Joe & Florabelle Soper, her brother Stan Soper & sister Nelda Pyke, her 1st husband & father of her children Edward Wilson, her daughter Lori McLaren, her 2nd husband Lew Lee & her special companion Rodney Arndt.

She is survived by her children: Alan Wilson, Teri (Harvey) Thiessen, Shyla (Mike) Simmons, her grandchildren: Darrin (Amanda) McNeely, Amanda (Keith) Watson, Fallon (Javier) Gilbert Segura, Sheena (Ken) Janzen, Jacy Wheeler, along with 6 great grandchildren: Kaden, Taeya, Preston, Brynn, Liam, Abi, & 5 great great grandchildren: Bentley, Cali, Kova, Raya, Omen & many nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly.

Eve loved life & lived it to her fullest through simple pleasures, socializing with friends or spending time with her family. She had a love for music, dancing at jamborees, travel, literature & playing crib. She wore many hats & worked hard, experiencing many different careers along the way. She was a socialite & made lifelong friends wherever she went, touching so many with her kindness & generosity. Eve had great passion for baseball, especially for the Toronto Blue Jays. She was their #1 fan!

Family & friends are invited to attend a memorial service being held in Eve’s honour on Thursday October 24, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Centre in Magrath at 1: 00p.m, 21 E 1 Ave S Magrath Ab.

Interment service at Magrath Cemetery to follow.
