Evelyn Adeline Martin

Mrs. Evelyn Adeline Martin of Lethbridge passed away at the Park Meadows Good Samaritans on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the age of 80 years.

Besides her loving husband, David Martin, Evelyn is survived by her children; Marlene Martin (Eric), Betty (Terry) Penney, Margaret (George) Van de Coevering, Brenda (Rick) Domagala, and Scott Martin.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Victoria (Anthony), Daniel (Katie), Tony (Brandi) Penny, Kimberly, Christopher (Dana), Craig (Lisa), Cory, and Jessie, as well as her great grandchild, Gracie Domagala.

She was predeceased by her son David Martin Jr., her parents John and Mary, sister Alice, and brothers Earl, Victor and Dennis.

Evelyn was born in Lanigan, Saskatchewan where she became a professional hairdresser. She met David, moved to Lethbridge, married and started a family.

Her favourite pastimes were bingo, puzzles, reading, hockey (Detroit Red Wings), but most of all cheering on her football team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

A private, family memorial gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Evelyn, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society or the Diabetes Association.
