Gwen Parsons Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of Gwen Parsons announce her passing at the age of 67 on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Gwen is survived by her loving partner Dartley Lee; daughter Marley (Thomas); son Jesse; brothers Norman (Lynne) and Ted (Lana); sister-in-law Grace; her nieces and nephews and beautiful granddaughter Mika. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Betty Parsons and siblings Bonnie and Jim.

Gwen was a career Woman, becoming one of the first female Blackjack dealers in Alberta, leading to a long and successful tenure at the Lethbridge Casino where she was employed as a pit boss. Many aspiring card dealers learned the skills of that trade from Gwen over the years.

She doted on her animals, Molly Ziggy and Tesla who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Gwen's life will be announced at a later date.
