Helen Lysak

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and aunt Helen Marie Lysak, November 4, 2024, at the age of 96 in Lethbridge, Alberta. She lived in her own house until her passing. She was a very funny, loving, caring, independent woman. She took great pride in her home, yard, and herself until the end. She maintained her home and yard until just a few years ago as age started to catch up with her. She cared deeply about people and was very compassionate for all animals. Helen had many good memories from her travels to Hawaii, and cruises to Europe and the Orient. Helen worked in cosmetics and finished her career with Sears.

Helen is survived by her sister Sophie Gardin, sister-in-law Betty Lysak, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her parents Josephine and Alexander Lysak, her sister Julie Rath, brother-in-law Frank Rath, brother Peter Lysak, and brother-in-law Ezio Gardin.

As per Helen’s request there will be no formal service held.
