Helen Mikula

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, sweet Mom and Babinka, Helen Mikula.

She was an extraordinary woman who loved her kids, her grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed playing cards, Vegas, gardening, needlepoint, baking [she made the best apple pies], cooking, and was so proud of her Slovak heritage. You could tell she was a farm girl from Turin because she was never afraid of hard work, could swing a hammer, paint, throw a bale of hay and hoe sugar beets with the best of them.

Helen was greeted at heaven's door by her parents, Michael & Maria Bilcik, her husband Tony, sister Arnie and brother Frank.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Val [Larry] Peto, sons Mark Mikula & Gary [Darlene] Mikula; her grandchildren Chelsea [Ray] Hopkins, Kyle [Katie] Peto, Tanner & Devan Mikula; her great grandchildren Emma, Ava, Lila & Kodyn; her sisters Agnes[Dennis] Dudley, Marie Smith & Rosie Chrupka.

The happiness we've shared and our closeness as a family are a tribute to you, Mom and to your love. May you rest in peace.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
