Helmut Tiede

Helmut lived in Cardston, raised his family, and operated Cardston Tire for 35 years. Upon retiring to Coaldale, he maintained an active lifestyle of beloved pastimes including dancing, gardening, shooting pool, playing cards, and he was an avid reader.

Helmut was pre-deceased by his parents Johann and Else and his brother Gerhard, all of Taber, Alberta.

He is survived by children, Robert (Myrna) of Pinawa MB, Thomas (Sarah) of Grande Prairie AB, Pamela (David) of Slave Lake AB, eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and sister Holde (Oskar) and family.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to nurses and staff at the Coaldale Health Centre for their exceptional compassionate care of our father.

A Memorial service will be held Sunday Mar 22 at 12:00pm at the Gem of the West Museum, 1306 - 20th St. Coaldale. A Luncheon will follow.
