Herbert "Ronn" Appleford

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ronn Appleford.

Ronn passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. He leaves behind his wife Elise Appleford (Michaud), his son Kirk Appleford (Rosa), and his 2 daughters Kim Appleford (Serge) and Diane Bellman (Todd). He also leaves behind his 4 grandchildren: Megan Sheppard-Brown (Matt), Brandon Bellman (Mariah), Thomas Appleford (Nicole), and Melissa Clark (Daniel), as well as his 4 beautiful great-grandchildren: Mason & Miles Sheppard-Brown, Theodore Bellman, and Tatum Clark.

Ronn was born in Toronto, Ontario. He grew up in Burlington, Ontario, and moved to Edmonton, Alberta where he met his wife. After serving his term in the Air Force, Ronn worked at the Ford Motor Company in Oakville until his retirement.

Ronn had many hobbies which included drag racing, target shooting, playing crib, dancing, scuba diving, and his most loved which was boating.

In keeping with Ronn’s wishes, there will be no formal Funeral Service. A private Interment will be held in the spring of 2027.
