James Alexander Farr

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Alexander Farr on August 11, 2024 at the age of 89.

Born in 1934, he lived a long and varied life, from delivering bread at 9 cents a loaf for $1 a day, repairing bicycles and sharpening saws to counting moose from a beaver aircraft. He eventually chose to become a physician. After serving four years with the Canadian Army, he settled in Coaldale Alberta where he enjoyed the rewards of 27 years of family practice. After his retirement he spent the remainder of his years with his wife and children enjoying family and his love for wood working. Life Was Complete!

James is survived by his 3 children: Tanya Farr of Coaldale, Keith (Leah) Farr of Coaldale, and Laird (Leila) Farr of Edmonton. He is also cherished by his two grandchildren Teagan (Jayden) Farr of Drayton Valley, and Tavis Farr of Edmonton, as well as one great grandson Reese. He is additionally survived by his twin sister Margie Pellegrini, and his brother Laverne Farr.

As per James' request there will be no formal service.
