James “Jim” R.A. Moore of Lethbridge passed away on August 6, 2026, at St Michael’s after a short battle with cancer. Jim was born on March 21, 1941, in Edmonton to Gudfinna Grimson and Ralph Moore.
Jim worked at AGT/Telus for 30+ years and enjoyed 33 years of retirement. He loved golf, enjoyed bowling and had a great time with his AGT coffee buddies “solving all the world’s problems” and trying to win the lottery. Jim had a witty sense of humor that will be missed.
He loved his family, and those left to celebrate his memory include his loving wife Gloria and his three children: James “Jay” (Jeanette), Shelley (Shane), and Derek (Rachel), his seven grandsons: CJ (Taylor), Nicholas (Meghann), Jared (Emily) Tuff, James, William (Madison), Jack, and Finn Moore, his sister Jo-Ann (Alan) McMahon, nephew Craig and family, sister-in-law Regine Moore, and niece Karen. Jim was predeceased by his brother Tom.
Jim did not want a service but if you would like to crack a brew and crank some CCR in his honour, that would be fitting.
Sleep well beloved.
