Joseph Dobbs

Joseph Paul Dobbs passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021, at the age of 83. After several months of declining health while being graciously cared for at Edith Cavell Care home and a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease, Joseph died peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital with his beloved wife Maxine and their children by his side. 

He is survived by Maxine, his loving wife of 56 years, his two children, Brian Dobbs of Lethbridge, and Lori (Dobbs) Ruziska, her husband Bill and two precious grandsons, Riley and Parker of San Jacinto, CA. He also leaves behind three siblings; Helen (Bill) Patterson, Lorne (Maria) Dobrowolski, Ed (Sandra) Dobrowolski, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

Joseph worked from a young age in various businesses and his endeavors included several decades in property management while living in Regina, Saskatchewan. In 2002, Joseph and his wife moved to Lethbridge, AB. They spent their winters in sunny California enjoying their loving grandsons and family.  

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all the amazing doctors, nurses and staff at Edith Cavell care home and the Chinook Regional Hospital. Their care and kindness extended to our Joe was very much appreciated. May God bless you Joe/Dad/Papa- you are so loved and will be greatly missed. Thanks for the memories!

At Joe’s request, there will be no Service. If one so chooses, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joes’ memory to a charity of your choice.
