Melyna Dodge

Melyna was born in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Canada with her parents in 1929. They settled in Taber where she resided until moving to Lethbridge in December 2009.

She leaves behind one daughter and one grandson; two sisters, a sister in law, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

Melyna worked for many years at the Taber Hospital then the Animal Clinic before going to work at the cannery in Taber. In her semi-retirement, she worked at Fields for a time.

Melyna enjoyed bowling, watching sports, playing cards and music. She was active in her Church, singing in the choir. She was also involved with the S.E.A. and CWL for many years.

At the family's request, no formal funeral services are being planned.
