Patricia "Pat" (Alexander) Skelly

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Patricia "Pat" Skelly (nee Alexander), on October 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with melanoma. Born on March 25, 1959, in Whitehorse, Yukon, Pat passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving children and her cherished dog, Maggie. 

Pat is survived by her devoted children: Robert Sakamoto Uustina McCarthy), Shae-Lynn Sakamoto (Stephen Brown), and Liam Skelly (Atyia Police-Skelly). She also leaves behind her loving sisters: Heather (Terry) Bailey, Beth (Randy) Quan, and Donna Ed hart (Ron Miller); her mother, Phyllis Alexander; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Robert (Bob) Alexander; her nephew, Jared Ed hart; her paternal and maternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sue Westheueser, Dr. Jose Monzon, Dr. Dionne Walsh, and the compassionate staff of Units 4C and 5B, along with the palliative care team, for their exceptional care and kindness during Mom's journey with cancer. Thank you to the community paramedics, Igor Shaskin and team at Stafford Pharmacy for their care and compassion for the past 20+ years.

 
As per Pat's wishes, no formal service will be held. She will be remembered privately by her family and close friends. 
Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
