OUELLET, Pierre-André passed away peacefully, with his partner Cheryl Rich at his side. He was 59 years old.
Pierre-André also leaves behind his mother, Diane Carriere from Lewiston, Montana and his brother, Simon (Betty Calic) from Hamilton ON, his fur babies Silly, Mitsy, Meeka, and Sugar, cousins, relatives, and many friends. He is pre-deceased by his father, Jacques.
Pierre-André was born in Shawinigan, Quebec but grew up in Montreal. He moved to Lethbridge in the early 2000s. Pierre graduated from the CEGEP of Matane QC majoring in photography. He was a prolific, award winning photographer, lover of animals, wildlife and nature. His ideal vacation was to load up his SUV and head to the Yukon, admire its nature and add to his photography collection. Professionally, Pierre-André was an accomplished web designer, a perfect field for his attention to detail and his artistic flair.
Although Pierre-André struggled with his health the past few years, he never lost his zest for life, admiration of Cheryl, his love of food and his animals. Pierre-André would give his heart and soul to the ones he loved and befriended. He will be missed but his memory will live on.
A celebration of Pierre’s life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Stella’s, 525 4 Ave. S. Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, a donation on Pierre-André’s behalf to Prairie Pitbull Rescue Inc., an organization cherished by Pierre-André at www.prairiepitbullrescue.com
