Robert John Lyczewski

Robert John Lyczewski, age 83, passed away peacefully after a brief and courageous battle with cancer on February 23, 2026, at St. Michael's Palliative Care in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Robert was born on July 31, 1942, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, and later built his dream home in the Crowsnest Pass. He was a man of quiet strength, deep loyalty, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Robert shared a lifelong love with his beloved wife Geraldine, who was truly the love of his life. Their bond was the foundation of everything he held dear. He carried her in his heart always, and it brings comfort to know they are reunited once again. 

He leaves behind his loving children: Kathy Lyczewski (Tim Slawosky), Roger (Merium) Lyczewski, and Tim (Andrea) Lyczewski He was a proud Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend.

Robert will be remembered for his warm and loving smile, steady presence, and the gift of the gab. His smile will forever remain in our hearts.

A private Celebration of Life will be held to honour his memory. He will be deeply missed by many.
