Obituary

Shelley Denise Semak (née Douglas), beloved wife of Alexander Semak, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the age of 63 years.

Shelley is survived by her husband Alex Semak, her son Mark Semak, grandson Kysen Semak, brother Garry (Karleen) Douglas as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Michael (Dutch) and Norma Jean (nèe McCutcheon) Douglas.

Shelley was born and raised in Lethbridge, AB, also living in Edmonton, AB throughout her life. She enjoyed the outdoors and what nature had to offer. She vacationed nearly every year with her family to beautiful destinations such as California, and Penticton, B.C, favouring the Shuswaps. She loved to spend time by the water and in the sun. At home, Shelley volunteered seasonally, also gaining great achievements and many accomplishments. She would always extend a helping hand to lives around her, regardless the challenges involved.

In 2013, she moved back to Lethbridge full time to care for her mother until 2021. She also had a love for animals, cats being her favourite. Recently before her passing, she had adopted a kitten and gave her a home. Shelley had such a loving heart and soul. She will always be loved and forever missed. Gone but never
forgotten.

At Shelley's request, no services will be held.
