Vera Boisvert

The death of Vera Isabel Boisvert occurred on June 26, 2024, at the age of 93 years old. She was residing at St. Therese Villa in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Vera was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She took all her schooling in Marengo, Saskatchewan. In April of 1952, she married Andre Boisvert. In September of 1953 she took over as Postmistress for 37 years, retiring in September of 1990. She was a member of the Flaxcombe Ladies Auxiliary Branch of the Legion, and in September of 2012 she moved from Kindersley, Saskatchewan to Lethbridge, Alberta. 

Vera leaves to mourn 3 daughters: Karen (Hugh) Gordon, Diane (Tom-deceased) Ryberg, and Laureen (Terry) McGinthy, 4 grandchildren: Greg (Shalane) Gordon and their children Danica, Owen, Sophia, Lucas, Aaron and Logan, Jennifer (Jeff) Kelly and their children Ben and Ethan, Warren (Meaghan) Ryberg and their children Griffen and Duncan, Mark (Jacky) Gartshore and their children Noah and Elliott.

Vera was predeceased by her husband Andre, her parents Peter and Mildred Blum, her brother Earl Blum, her son in law Tom Ryberg, and grandson Shane Gartshore.

Cremation has taken place. Vera will be privately remembered by her family at a later date.
