Wendy Cross

Wendy passed away in Redcliff, AB, June 28, 2015.

Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, May 26, 1962 to William James and Elsie Purcell. She is the mother of Melanie, Amanda, Bud, and 3+ grandchildren.

She is survived by her dear friend Rick Rhodes, her cat Munchkins, and numerous brothers and sisters, including Sonya Martland, Kate Ross (foster sister), and step-daughter Billy Jo Cross, and was step-grandmother to Billy Jo's 5 children.

Wendy lived the last few years in Lethbridge, but loved to visit family and friends in the Medicine Hat area. She received a 10-year award of recognition from The Ability Centre, which included many hours of volunteer services.

Wendy had a caring and generous heart. For the last 11.5 years, Wendy lived with Tom and Peggy McNabb, and had acknowledged their children and grandchildren as her extended family.

Appreciation and recognition goes to Edenbridge staff for their caring support of Wendy for the last 14 years.
