Wilfred Erwin Wiebe of Lethbridge, husband of the late Kimberly Joy Wiebe, passed away suddenly after a short, critical illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on February 28, 2020 at the age of 64 years.
Wilfred was born on May 20, 1955 to Peter and Christel Wiebe. He graduated from Grande Prairie Composite High School and then pursued a theology degree at Northwest Bible College. He worked as a heavy duty mechanic while following his passions of fishing, music, wood working and chopping wood for Bible camps.
Wilfred is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Wiebe (Woodow) Higgins, Grandchildren, Cole Dean Higgins and Lacey Joy Higgins; Sisters, Linda (Henry) Willms, Doris (Gene) Staggs, Betty (Tom) Jakel; Brothers, Jim (Debbie) Wiebe, Dennis (Donna) Wiebe and Ken (Bev) Wiebe.
Besides his wife, Kimberly Joy Wiebe, Wilfred was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Christel Wiebe.
A Celebration of Life will be held. Details will be announced.
